Can I work during my appointment?You sure can, as long as it does not interfere with the steady progression of your service. We cannot start and stop a ton. If it becomes a problem, I will ask you to stop working, or you will be subject to an appointment cancellation and the late cancellation fee.

Can I arrive early for my appointment?Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time. Once you arrive, please wait in your car until you receive a notification to come in.

Can I bring my child(ren) to my appointment?No additional guests are allowed at your appointment, including children. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, there's no exceptions. I do not service children unless I talk to you personally and tell you that I will.

How do I pay my deposit?You will be able to pay your deposit at the time of booking. You can book an appointment here for Sunday-Tuesday and here for Wednesday-Saturday.

How far in advance should I book an appointment?To ensure that you get the date and time that you need/want, I recommend that you book your appointment a minimum of 1-2 weeks in advance. For Monday through Friday appointments, you can not book an appointment within 48 hours of the appointment day (You can't book on Thursday for a Thursday or Friday appointment on Monday through Friday). For Saturday appointments, you can book same day or any other day. I recommend booking follow-up appointments before you leave the appointment you are attending.

How do I need to prepare for my appointment?For Monday-Friday appointments, please come to your appointment with your hair shampooed, detangled, and blown out from roots to ends with NO PRODUCTS, including oils. Detangling and/or blow drying can be added to your service for an additional cost. For Saturday appointments, shampoo, condition, and blow-dry are included, so PLEASE just come with your hair detangled. Severely tangled/matted will acquire an additional fee, or your appointment may be subject to cancelation and the late cancelation fee will be applied. For Monday-Friday appointments, hair is provided for all braiding services. For Saturday appointments, hair can be provided for $3.50 per bundle used, the average being 9 bundles for medium-sized braids for $31.50. If you would like to provide your hair on any appointment day, please bring the following number of packs of the RUWA or Outre Xpressions Pre-stretched 3 bundle packs: Two packs for Jumbo Two packs for Large Three packs for Medium Four packs for Smedium Five packs for Small

How long should I keep my braids in?The average amount of time braids should be kept is 4-6 weeks, but a touch up can be done around your edges at 4-5 weeks, if you want your braids to last to about 8 weeks. Going beyond 6 weeks without a touch up and beyond 8 weeks with a touch up can cause breakage due to your new growth entangling with the braids. Touch ups are not offered after weeks.

How long do I have to cancel or reschedule my appointment?All appointment changes can be made through your booking confirmation email or by contacting me directly at (404) 635-6962. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please do so 48 hours in advance. Appointments can be rescheduled one time within a 2-week period from the original appointment date without needing a new deposit. Ex: Your appointment is on January 1st, your appointment can be rescheduled to any date between Jan. 1st and Jan. 15th without requiring a new deposit. Late cancellations and reschedules will result in a 25% late cancellation fee.

How do I take care of my hair after my appointment?Tie down your braids in a loose pony with a scarf, covering your edges or use a bonnet to fully cover your braids. I do not recommend putting your hair into a high ponytail or bun to sleep. This will cause tension on your scalp and edges, resulting in tenderness and thinning. Keep your scalp moisturized. I recommend that you use a scalp serum or oil 2-3 days a week or as needed. It will help relieve any itching from dry scalp, as well as give your hair moisture and help with hair growth. Do you have hair model opportunities and discounts?Yes. If you can spend a few hours after the appointment to take pictures and videos for me to promote my services, you can get 50% off a service over $200 and 25% off a service between $50 and $200. To inquire about being a hair model, please email me at halohairexperience@gmail.com with the subject line: HHE Hair Model. In the email, provide your name, phone number, and possible appointment dates, preferably Fridays.

Do you provide hair or do I have to bring my own?Hair is provided for all services. So, no need to stop at any beauty supply stores or worrying about getting hair. Just be sure to say what color you want in the add-on section.

Do you offer gift certificates or gift cards?I sure do. If you click "Book Now" at the top of the page, you will be directed to a screen where you can book an appointment or purchase gift cards.

Do you require a deposit to book an appointment?Yes. A 25% deposit is due at the time of booking. This deposit does go toward your final balance for the appointment.

Do you have a cell phone policy?You may use your phone as long as it does not interfere with the steady progression of your style. If I have to keep adjusting your head or asking you to, I will ask that you put your phone away. If you refuse, your appointment may be subject to cancellation and the late cancellation fee will be charged.

What are your hours of operation?Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Sunday: CLOSED

What is your refund policy?All sales and services are final and no refunds will be given. Please try to tell me if you have a concern while you are still at your appointment. However, you may reach out to get your style fixed up to 2 days after your appointment, if an issue does occur due to an error on my end. If an error occurs on your end, I do not mind fixing a minor error. Bigger corrections may result in an additional fee.

What methods of payment do you accept?Monday - Friday: Cash, the debit card on file, a new debit/credit card, Tap Payment (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.), and Zelle. For Zelle, the email is adnesmith011@gmail.com. Saturday: Cash, a physical debit/credit card (it can be the one on file, but it has to be swiped/tapped in the salon), Tap Payment (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.), Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle.

What is your late policy?If you are running late, PLEASE text or call (404) 635-6962 to let me know. Each client is given a 10-minute grace period. Being more than 10 minutes late will result in a $15 late arrival fee. After 15 minutes, your appointment will be canceled and a 50% late cancellation fee will be charged. Clients who do not communicate or show up (no-shows) will be charged 100% of the service price and blocked from booking in the future.

Where are you located?Because Halo Hair Experience is a recently reestablished business, clients who choose to come to me Monday through Friday will be coming to my home. Therefore, you will receive my address 24 hours before your appointment is scheduled to begin. We are praying together for the perfect suite to become available within 2024. If you would like for me to come to you, I can do so for an travel fee of $50. Reach out to me via text (404-635-6962) to make sure that the time you are requesting is actually available with travel time. For Saturday appointments, I will be at Natural Trendzetter Salon in Snellville, GA. The address is 2399 Scenic Hwy S, Snellville, GA 30078.
